Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, Penang’s Rasa Deli has whipped up a great deal of excitement by introducing an all-new Durian Banana Mousse Cake to its menu this month. With this new sweet treat, Rasa Deli has extended the Durian Banana Mousse Cake promotion until the end of August.
The new Durian Banana Mousse Cake is a unique pastry with layers of pure durian puree and caramelised bananas, a crunchy base of almond dacquoise and a bit of chocolate mousse in between. The smooth mousse cake has a coated glazed surface topped with a chocolate stick and a fondant sugar flower with its outer base covered with fresh coconut flakes. At only RM15 nett per piece, the new Durian Banana Mousses Cake will certainly delight those who crave for the smooth creamy texture of mousse.
Guests who simply cannot get enough of the irresistible Durian Banana Mousse Cake can try other temptations of pastries, cakes (available as whole cakes and slices), muffins, cookies, macarons, sandwiches and bread loaves. Chef Dino Wan specially prepares these delicacies. Guests may place orders of all types of cakes for special occasions and collect them as takeaway items.
During the promotion period, Rasa Deli offers its value-added Takeaway Combo. The Cake Combo features the cake of the day and a beverage for RM18 nett while the Sandwich Combo features a selected sandwich and a beverage for RM26 nett.
The Rasa Deli is located at the Garden Wing. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
