Eastin Hotel Penang is here with their special buffet lunch "Chiak Penang" which is on-going from now til the 30th of June 2015 at Swez Brasserie. Oh just if you did not know, "Chiak" in the  local dialect hokkien means eat.

With load and loads of delicious local flavours and  taste for you to savour.

For appetizers, there's the Kerabu Telur, Kerabu Mango, Roasted Chicken with Mushroom Salad, Gado Gado, Fajita-Marinated Beef with Avocado Cream, Penang Famous Fruit Rojak, Cold Cuts, Prawn Crackers, Fish Crackers and Papadum.

Why not make you own salad at the salad bar which offer greens such as mixed lettuce, capsicum, carrot, olives, crouton, sundried cherry tomato, pickle in oil, crispy bacon, cheese, hard boiled eggs and various dressing.

Well not forgetting there is the Sweet & Sour Hainanese soup as well as Chicken and Smoked Sausage Soup.

For main course, there is Minced Lamb Kofta on Onion Compote, Chicken Scaloppini with Beef Bacon and Sage, Oven Baked Red Snapper Fillet Lemon Infused Creas Sauce, Baked Fennel with Pepper and Tomato, Homemade Mushroom Cannelloni Filled with Cheese and Spinach and many other varieties.

As for the Asian section, you will find dishes such as Ikan Panggang dengan Air Assam, Wok Fried Mussels with Black Bean Sauce, Fried Okra with Belacan, Nyonya Chicken Pong Tei, and many others.

Penang is known for Nasi Kandar, back here you will find popular items such as Udang Goreng, Ayam Goreng, Ketam Goreng, Ikan Goreng, Ayam Masak Madu, Kambing Masak Merah, Dhall Masak Sayur, Kari Ikan Kepala dengan Bendi, Nasi Minyak Hujan Panas and even Mee Mamak.

There is also the Action Stall which serves Yong Tau Foo, Mamak Popiah, Teppanyaki Chicken, Murtabak as well as something refreshingly cool that is the Ais Kacang / Chendol.

Now why not end the meal with mouth watering desserts such as Assorted Fruit Platter, Assorted French Pastries, Whole Cakes, Fruit Jelly, Coconut Panna Cotta, Red Ruby with Jack Fruit, Sweet Corn Pudding, Red Velvet and many other irresistible desserts.
