As Chinese New Year is fast approaching, Eastern & Oriental Hotel fondly known as E&O Hotel has prepared not one but 2 types of feast for you to welcome the Chinese New Year with the family and friends. One is the Gong Xi Fa Chai Buffet Dinner while the other is the Chinese New Year Steamboat Buffet Dinner.
As for this, I will be sharing with you about the Gong Xi Fa Chai Buffet Dinner. An array of appetizing dishes specially prepared for you to indulge in this festive season.
So let's have a look at what the chefs in the kitchen has prepared for you.
First in line would be the Salmon Yee Sang which is provided to every table with a minimum booking of 6 pax and above. Do take note that the Yee Sang is only available upon booking. While abalone is available as add-on.
So make sure that you toss it high high as high as you can go, the higher the prosperous ma..Just make sure you don't la mess up the whole table OK? :p
Next up is the Sea Treasure Seafood Soup. A rich in flavour with heaps of ingredients soup.
Each diner will also receive an individual Steamed Herbal Soup. Love the mixture of herbs used that gives it such nice aroma and a nice herb taste.
Braised Soya Chicken with Black Mushroom.
Steamed Fish with Nyonya Sauce. Simply love the beautiful taste that came from the sauce. The mixture of ingredients to make the sauce, just makes you wanting more with the fresh fish.
Wok Fried Prawns with Oat and Butter. Nothing could go wrong with this dish. Prawns friend with oats and butter. Gives such nice fragrant and taste.
Sauteed Seasonal Vegetable with Two Treasure Mushroom
There nothing much to say about E&O Roasted Duck because of you have tasted it before, you certainly know the best duck to have in town definitely comes from E&O Hotel.
Lotus Rice with Chicken Meat and Mushroom was lovely. A rather common item but E&O Hotel nailed it. Many places somehow does it soggy or too hard or flat in taste, It was just perfect.
Time to end the meal with some sweet treats. There's the flaky Chinese Pancake as well as the Red Bean Soup with Glutinous Rice Ball.
Red Bean Soup with Glutinous Rice Ball was so addictive. The Rice Ball has the prefect bite texture and the smoothness of the black sesame in it. I could certainly have this over and over.
Well don't forget to enjoy their Fruit Punch which is found on the buffet line.
This is just part of the items you will find during the buffet dinner. With many dining experience at E&O Hotel, you will surely be spoilt for choices when it comes to their buffet spread.
