With the holy month of Ramadhan fast approaching, The Northam All Suites Hotel Penang is set to welcome you to an array of delicious spread of Selera Kampung beginning from 2 June - 23 June 2017. Kitchen led by Executive Chef Din, Selera Kampung features traditional kampung delicacies that taste so delicious that you would be coming back for more rounds.
I was pretty excited as this was my very first review at The Northam All Suites Hotel Penang.
The venue of the buffet is located at the Roof Terrace on the 9th floor where the scrumptious array of food awaits diners with a beautiful view at the same time. It surely does bring dining experience up one notch.
How can you not love the view up here :)

Dates are indeed an essential item for breaking fast and you will find a wide variety of dates offered back here.
Those who love ulam-ulaman and sambal will be happy to see the selection of it available.
Various types of kerabu such as kerabu telur, kerabu manga, acar timun and fresh garden greens are also spotted on the spread.
Now off to some of the hot cooking items that offers different items, different style of cooking and different flavours but one thing for sure, it was tasty.
Nasi Briyani
All you need is fragrant rice and with the variety of main dishes offered, one round wouldn't be enough to satisfy.

A pot of fish cooked with such nice aroma of spices and the taste of the "lemakness"

Rendang Daging
Telur Goreng Bawang
Kambing Golek certainly makes u golek-ing back for more. Love the marination of the herbs that gave such nice flavour and taste.
Our very own popular item such as roti canai and roti jala were freshly made, soft and with the dhall curry, oh nice!
How about a hearty bowl of delicious Laksa?
There is also a section where you will find the pasembur and rojak. Both looking so appealing and I like the pasembur as in comparison to many, the gravy was thick that packed with flavours in it.
Chef Din presents a wide selection of mouth watering desserts for you to enjoy. If only I could place a chair at the dessert table and enjoy it all to myself hahaha...
The desserts looked so good and delectable.
Oh there is even Bubur Kacang Hijau. One of my favourite, it had the right thickness and mild sweet. Many would love it.
Last but not least, some icy cool treat to end the meal with. Ice kacang anyone?
