The chefs at Cititel Penang has whipped up a fantastic variety of cuisine for you to indulge in celebration with the upcoming Chinese New Year. A myriad variety of mouth-watering spread that will just please the palates.
Cititel Penang kick starts the Chinese New Year celebration with a CHinese New Year Celebration Lunch from the 8th to 14th Feb 2018, 12pm to 3pm at only RM 68nett (Adult), RM 33nett (child) and RM 48net (Senior). Salmon Yee Sang will be provided to each table while the reunion lunch on 15 Feb 2018 will be at RM 78nett (Adult) and RM 39nett (child).
The Chinese New Year Celebration Seafood Dinner starts from the 8th Feb to 13 Feb 2018, 7pm-10pm will be at RM 100nett (adult), RM 50nett (child) and RM 70nett (senior). Salmon Yee Sang will be provided for each table too.
So let's have a look at all the beautiful crafted food meant to be enjoyed.
Starting off with some fresh greens at the salad bar. Grab your favourite greens, some condiments and dressing of your choice.
The Asian tapas were just hard to say no to. Presented in such beautiful manner that it strikes your attention from a far.
The Seafood on Ice is like the ulimate section for many. How can 1 resist the temptation of fresh seafood items like oysters, mussels, scallops and many more.
Just beside it, you will find a variety of sushis waiting for you to enjoy.
Time to enjoy some hot warm soup. The Mock Shark Fin Soup with Crabmeat was nicely seasoned and flavoured.
You get to enjoy two types of soup and the other is the Cream of Cauliflower du Barry.
Off to the ever popular satay. Their satay has to be one like one of the best satay in town. So good that people love it so much. The nicely marinated tender bits of meat, nicely grilled and the peanut sauce. That one is the bomb. Unlike many places that offers a rather diluted sauce, Cititel Penang never fails to provide that amazing peanut sauce.
At the same spot, you will find some grilled items like sausages and lamb.
The rojak is also another item which many has praised. The rojak sauce was infact really good. That and the mixture of our local fruits. Delicious!
Now off to some of the main dishes.
Fried Prawns with Oats Curry leaves and Chili Padi

I was truly delighted to spot this on the buffet line. The crispy bits of chicken and the oriental sauce was just superb.

Salmon Head Curry
Oyster Thermidor Chinese Style
Beef Wellington
This was an unexpected dish to be found. But sure is good to spot it on the buffet spread.
And last but not least, that moment to pamper you tummy with all the irresistible sweet treats.
