The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale travels further up north to Penang this October! Catch the Sale from the 4th to 14th October 2018 at Gurney Paragon, Level 7. The much-anticipated book sale will be in town for 11 days and will be operating from 10.00am – midnight (12.00am). Entrance to the Sale is FREE so don’t go alone, bring a friend or a loved one along and share the joys of hunting for your favourite books together.
Known as the world’s biggest book sale, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is recognised for its unbeatable discounts. Book lovers, get ready to enjoy 75% - 95% off on large variety of books. Visitors can find books from a wide genre of selections, ranging from novels, sci-fi, crime, thriller, business books, art and design books, cookbooks, architecture books and more. Parents will also find a diverse range of children’s books such as board books, story books, activity books, young adult books and more. There will be books in three different languages; English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese at the Sale.
“The last time The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale was in Penang was in 2016. Since then our fans here in Penang have been encouraging us to come back. Earlier this year, we made a conscious decision to visit as many cities as possible - Melaka, Ipoh, Kuching and now we are making our way up north,” said Andrew Yap, Founder of the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale.
“Visiting more cities within Malaysia has been our long-time goal to make affordable books accessible to a wider audience within the country. We believe that books can create opportunities, inspire people and also empower them to dream bigger,” added Yap.
At the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale, there is a book for everyone. Shoppers can also find education books from famous publishers such as Kualiti, Sasbadi, PTS, and Pelangi, that will be on offer. There will also be a selection of contemporary Malaysian novels at the Sale by Buku Fixi, Lejen Press, DuBook Press and more.
