A giant 18-feet Christmas Tree stands stall in the lobby of Hotel Equatorial Penang. The tree is made out of 4000 recyclable drinking bottles and is also part of Hotel Equatorial Penang's participation in the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) concept. A concept which they emphasize on in everything that they do.  A step taken by the hotel in saving the environment and nurturing the best for the future generations.

The Greenest Christmas Tree was recently lit on the 29 of November 2019, with guests being entertained by Christmas carols performed by the Hotel Equatorial Penang family. Guest were also introduced to the new functions rooms - Galleria 1, Galleria 2, Classic and Boardroom.  With state-of-the-art facilities and a touch of class, the facilities includes overhead projector, Smart One TV, Samsung Flipchart (portable), Conference Microphone (wireless) among many others that makes meetings and functions convenient.
