FamilyMart has landed in Pulau Tikus!
FamilyMart has opened its 3rd outlet here along Jalan Burma in Pulau Tikus after its very first outlet in Penang at Karpal Singh Drive and the 2nd outlet at Auto City Juru. Honestly, I am so excited when I spotted a FamilyMart was going to be open in this area. For people staying around Pulau Tikus, Gurney, Tanjong Tokong, Tanjung Bungah and nearby, you don't have to go all the way to town now for a fix of Oden, Sofuto soft serve ice cream, frappe, Onigiri and much more.
Though this outlet is relatively smaller than the one in Karpal Singh Drive, but I guess it has all that you pretty much need.

I made a visit earlier and lucky as the queue was rather short. There were about 4 people in front of me.

One of the must have and a favourite among many is the Oden. It's kind of like our Yong Tau Foo in Tom Yum broth.

Yes, if you have been to 7E or other convenience stores around, (though some are catching up with the trend now), you will realise the difference in the option of food available for you to enjoy. Oden and their soft serve Sofuto ice cream are among those favourite items that many people look forward to.
How can you resists the tempations.
I only grabbed the French Crème brûlée Sofuto, chocolate cookie frappe and blueberry sando.
Already packed a huge pack of rice, so had to skip my Oden this round but I'll be BACK. muahahahahhaa...
