I must say, Eastin Hotel Penang has never failed to impress with their Ramadhan spread and even this year, they have lived up to that mark, infact even better,
There was food and more choices of food at every corner of Swez Brasserie. One know one thing for sure is it will be a feast that you will certainly enjoy.
So let's have a look at what are the delectable array of food awaits diners this Ramadhan.
To kick start the meals there's the Ulaman and Herba Kampung corner where you will find items such as Ulam Raja, Petai, Kacang Botol, and others.
Then there is the Aneka Kerabu with items like Kerabu Sotong, Kerabu Udang, Kerabu Kerang and many other types of kerabu.
Why not give a toss at the Rojak Mambo station.
You will also find some pickled items at the Semenanjung Jeruk Kampung spot.
Now to the main items, at the Pelbagai Aneka Masakan India you will find Roti Naan, Pinang Tandoori Tempayan as well as Kambing Massala Tosai.
You will also find local favourite, Laksa Penang and Bihun sup at the Gerai Mee Semenanjung corner. While you are there, don't miss out trying the Nasi Ayam Hainan.
Ketupat and Lemang, is a no miss when we talk about Ramadhan and Hari Raya, dig into the delicious Ismail Pulut and Lemang. Where you will also find Lemang Pulut Hitam, Pulut Kuning as well as Ketupats too.
Not only that, there is also the Gulai Daging Kawah Abang Fauzi cooked with mixed spices. Certainly one of its kind.
Tender pieces of chicken and beef satay with nice peanut sauce.
Another item which relates during the Holy Month is the Kampung Melayu Lambuk with condiments such as Daun Bawang, Bawang Goreng, Udang, Daging Cincang, Sayur Asin, Ikan Bilis and so many other ingredients.
As for the Sup Koner - Harian Sup Istimewa, their well-known specialty, Gearbox and you will also find a Chinese soup as well, Emperor Seafood soup.
Now this is an eye catcher, the Kambing Golek Beratur Panjang, Roasted with a mixture of herbs from Middle East, gives it a nice flavour and aroma. Those tender meat goes perfectly well with Briyani Pak Raj and it comes with not 1 not 2 but 8 types of gravy.
Ok, so that is quite an amount of food already, wait! There's more haha..
The Hidangan Semenanjung Bersama Menu Mingguan, you will find specialty items from various parts of Malaysia. You have the Gulai Talang Ikan Masin - Melaka, Sambal Telur - Melaka, Ketam Manis - Johor, Ayam Masak Rose - Johor, Daging Kuzi Daun Pudina - Kelantan, Udang Berempah - Kedah, Ikan Tenggiri Gulai Kampung - Perlis, Hong Kong Kailan Bawang Putih dan Ikan Masin - Selangor, Gulai Lemak Jantung Pisang - N.Sembilan, Paru Goreng Kacang Tumbuk - N.Sembilan, Kong Po Sotong - Penang, Sayur Lodeh - Pahang as well as Nasi Tomato/Nasi Puteh.
Now to end the meal with heaps of sweet happiness.
Chocolate fountain with fresh fruits and marshmallows.
Ais Kacang with lots of condiments and Tapai too. Something which you hardly get.
Kuih Raya!!! Oh setahun hanya sekali.. Could not help myself from not enjoying every type of it.
There is also the Bubur Pulut Hitam and Pengat Durian.
And heaps and heaps of cakes and desserts and the Citarasa Mat Saleh section. I must say, this buffet has alot of desserts to indulge. Oh yummy! Memang best sekali.
There ice cream as well as various beverages for you to enjoy.
