3 Abdul Buffet Dinner at Vouk Hotel Suites Penang



C'est Si Bon at Vouk Hotel Suites is all set to bring you on a gastronomic journey with the wide variety of delicious feast during the holy month. From starters right up to desserts, the range of items are just so appealing, making you wish you had a bigger tummy to fit every bit of it in.



So lets check what they have in store for you. Let the drooling begin :)

As for starters, there's the salad bar section offering fresh greens, condiments and dressing of your choice.


A splendid variety of kerabu and premix salad such as kerabu chicken, kerabu young papaya. tuna salad, jelatah and many more.



Local favourites  such as pasembur and rojak.



Ulam-ulaman best enjoyed with the various dip sauce and while one thing that spot my attention was the Ju Hu Eng Chye which is the cuttle fish with water convolvulus is something you don't often get on the buffet line.



The gear box soup is something you should not miss out. The rich flavour of the stock and aroma, pleasingly satisfying.

Off to the main dishes which offers a nice mix of flavours and taste. From poultry to seafood items, each dish is uniquely prepared offering such beautiful flavours on its own.


Spot for items like:
Ayam masak hitam
Whole fish panggang Portugis style
Udang goreng tahi minyak
Beef rendang Mamak
Paru masak berempah
Lamb Vindaloo
Sotong masak berempah
Stir fried kai lan dengan ikan masin
Sayur lodeh
Gratin potato
Nasi minyak














The list of feast continues with even more delicacies such as a taste from the Middle East like shawarma. Pick your favourite items at the yong tau foo corner and choose either the clear soup or curry soup.





Love your juicy tender meat cuts? They have the roast whole Tandoori lamb leg and sirloin steak for you.


At the grill station, there's the sambal 7 keturunan ikan bakar, prawn and sotong.



Pop over to the noodle station to grab a bowl of mee rebus and a plate or 2 of char koay teow.



The chef flipping the dough to make murtabak. Comes in 2 types; chicken and lamb enjoyed with chicken curry and dhal. Yumz


Grab some hot steaming siew mai, assorted pau and loh mai kai. So good!


Finally to my favourite part, the desserts! A wide spread of desserts ranging from local Malay kuih, to cakes, icy cool treat like ais kacang, waffle and fresh cut fruits.
