Selera Kampung at E&O Hotel Penang

When it comes to buffet, E&O Hotel Penang is well-known for its scrumptious spread that offers a wide variety of delicious items from starters right up to mouth-watering desserts. For this holy month, the chefs at Sarkies has prepared a mix of local fare as well as international flavours, and each of it is just so tempting.

Let's take a look at the items which you can enjoy during the Selera Kampung buffet dinner.

Staring off with a section of fresh greens and dressing, assortment of ulam-ulaaman with sauce and dips and a variety of kerabu.

The kerabu not only looks good, but it does stimulate the appetite too.

A touch of Japanese with sashimi, assorted sushi and many more.

Cheese platter. It's always great to see Brie/Camembert cheese being served on the buffet line. My favourite.

Fish crackers, spring roll and onion ring.

One of the item that is much looked forward to is the, BBQ whole roast Australian lamb. The tender slices of the lamb is something that many look forward to enjoying.

Andalouse tomato soup.

Fish ball & fuchuk soup

When it comes to the main dishes, the style of preparation and ingredients used in each dish offers its own unique taste and flavour. Items range from poultry items, meat, seafood and vege.

Baked whole fish with chef choice flavour. Looks good doesn't it!

Roasted duck.

Back at the hot place section, you can spot items such as salmon steaks, saba fish, japanese long fish, squid ring, minute steak and sausages.

While at the noodles action section, you can grab a serving of char koay teow, curry mee, and to the side you will spot chicken broth with condiments as well.

The list of food also continues at the outdoor section. With items like laksa, pasembur, chicken and beef satay,

Time for all the sugary treats. Dessert time! 

A spread of local Malay kuih as well as other delectable items like chocolate fountain, cakes, sweet warm soup, ice creams and many more. Everything looking so tempting.

Finally, end with an bowl of icy cool ais kacang.
