The Longest Tube Water Slide is officially open!
There's so many reasons to visit ESCAPE in Penang and with the newly launched Longest Tube Water Slide, you wouldn't want to miss this. We were privileged to be there to witness the official launch of the longest tube water slide as well as ESCAPE phase 3 - Gravity play which consist of the a chairlift and downhill trike rides - the Hill Rider and the downhill tube ride Tubby Racer.
At a breaking record of 1,111m, the water slide ride takes about 4 minutes from the peak to the end. The chairlift transports you from the ground to the peak and this chairlift is the first in Penang and in Malaysia. How cool is that!
The launch was graced by Finance Minister, YB Mr. Lim Guan Eng and Penang's Chief Minister YB. Mr. Chow Kon Yeow.
