Enjoy Your Meals, Worry-free with The Reopening of Sigi's Bar & Grill, Golden Sands Resort Penang with SOP
Your favourite Italian dining spot by the beach in Penang, Sigi's Bar & Grill is back! After being temporarily closed for a while due to the Covid-19 pandemic that took the world by storm, Sigi's Bar & Grill is now back offering dine-in and takeaways from Fridays to Sundays, 11am-9pm while prioritizing strict standard operating procedures in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of their guests.
With the strict SOP being implements and carried out, you can now look forward to dining back at your favourite dining place while enjoying the lovely view of the beach. Something that we surely do miss since the implementation of the MCO.
Among the measures taken are such as:
- Temperature checks at all entrances of the restaurants
- Social distancing markers
- A maximum of 4 people to a table
- A 2-metre distance between dining tables
- Regular sanitisations of frequent touch points
- Availability of sanitisers for staff and guests at communal areas and work stations
- Added provision of apparatus and devices to minimise contact with infected surfaces
- Clearing and sanitising of each table after use
- Staffs serving guests are required to wear face masks and gloves
- Intoduction of contactless ordering and payment with QR codes to all dining outlets, to further minimise the risk of contamination surfaces.
- Guests are encouraged to wear face masks in public areas and are advised to avoid overly crowded spaces.
Here's the checking station, where you will be greeted by the friendly staff. If you have a QR code scanner, you can just scan the QR code on display or alternatively had your details written in the record book.

Spot the rectangular thing on the bottom left? That's the face mask cover for you to place your face mask in it and fold. Which is a good initiative because it discourages guests from simply putting their face mask on the table, unprotected.
You can enjoy dining indoor or outdoor, while relaxing to the windy sea breeze. Tables have been set with a 2-metre distance, and with a 2 or 4 pax sitting capacity per table.
While the main menu is now available online, you just have to scan the QR code on your table to view the food and drinks menu. There's addition of the Asian Menu which is placed on your table stand.
Enjoy items from starters, salads, soups, grilled items, pizzas, pasta, desserts and many more.

Beef Rendang RM33.00
Tender braised beef packed with flavours from the local herbs and spices along with 'kerisik'. Served together with steamed rice, vegetables pickles and crackers.
Chicken Curry Kapitan - RM35
Braised mild chicken curry infused with kaffir lime & lemon grass. That fragrant aroma and delicious taste of tender chicken on every bite.
Seafood Aglio e Olio - RM42
A tantalising trio of prawns, mussels and squids with a dash of spice and extra virgin olive oil.
Shroom-y Carbonara - RM38
That creamy dose pasta with beef bacon.
Love pizza? Grab a delightful thin crust pizza like Hawaiian (RM40) or Al Pepperoni (RM42) among other pizzas available.
Not to be missed is their,
Not Your Regular Tiramsu (RM26) and Chocolate Lava Gateau (RM26). A sinful indulgence of richness and delight. One taste and you'll be wanting more :)
