Delicious Afternoon Tea and A Hearty Mixed Platter To Enjoy at The Prestige Hotel, Penang.

The Prestige Hotel, Penang has 2 tantalising promotions that you have got to try. The Afternoon Affair which is their afternoon tea and their Mixed Platter which combines a hearty mix of meat and seafood all set against their beautiful setting at The Glasshouse.

The Glasshouse is such a natural instagramable spot. The interior makes dining such a pleasurable spot. Delicious food + beautiful ambiance = perfect dining :)

The Afternoon Affair offers a nice selection of sweet and savoury bites for you to enjoy. It is available daily from 3pm to 6pm and is priced at RM68 nett. While the Mixed Plater is also available daily, from 3pm to 10pm. The hearty platter is priced at RM80 nett and is good to be shared by 2 or 3 pax.

Let's dig into the Afternoon Affair :)

To start off right on top are the buttery scones with butter and strawberry jam.

A spread of the butter and jam on the scones, yummy!

Down to the middle tier, some sweet treats like green tea and strawberry macaroon, mini fruit tarts, cheese cake and pot Oreo custard.

The macaroons were an indulgence. The perfect sweetness, light and airy on every bite.

Lastly at the bottom tier, some hearty bites of crab cocktail sauce cheese baguette sandwich, open-face mini smoked salmon sandwich with ebiko and honey glazed smoked duck in mantao. 

The honey glazed smoked duck in mantao was a delight. I could just eat more of those haha.. The fluffy mantao with the smoked duck, shreds of cucumber for the crunch and a tinge of sweetness just makes it such a delightful treat.

Lastly choice of TWG tea or coffee to complement your bites.

Mixed Platter

This jaw dropping platter is an instant magnet to the eyes and tummy. One look and your can't wait to start enjoying it. Oh and the platter comes with soup of the day too. Woah! So much to enjoy.

This one really is a FEAST!
