Start off with a nice selction of mix greens at the Salad Bar with many other local appetisers such as Ulam-ulaman, Long Bean Salad, Pickle Potpourri, and many more.
Pop over to the Seafood on Ice for those succulent juicy chilled prawns, mussels and scallops.
One of the must have during Ramadhan has to be the Bubur Lambuk, rich in flavour in every scoop.
Warm up the tummy with hearty servings of rich Creamy Pumpkin Soup and Soto Ayam. The Soto Ayam soup gives a fragrant aroma that makes you want to enjoy it instantly.
At the Main Dishes section, you will be welcomed by a mix gorgeous cuisines of Asian, Western and Chinese fare. Each offering a burst of unique flavours. The Nasi Tomato is a must have. The beautifully scented rice pairs perfectly with dishes such as Ayam Masak Ros, Assam Curry Fish, Prawn Sambal, Mussels in Coconut Cream Curry. So delish. While for the Western dishes, the Seafood Pasta was so good! So craving for it now as I type :p
There's also the Kam Heong Crab and Prawn Foo Yong Egg if you're in for some Chinese fare.
At the Carving Station, this is where the highlight awaits. The Roasted Lamb Leg is a big favourite among the diners. Juicy tender cuts makes you craving for more. While there, don't miss out on getting a slice or two of the Roasted Kapitan Chicken.
The list of indulgence continues outdoor where the perfect grilling of meats and seafood is done. Among the grilled items are chicken wings, prawns, fish, squid, sausages, chicken and beef satay. The satay was tender and the rich peanut sauce was yums!
Now to my most favourite part - DESSERTS!
The desserts at G are always a magnet to the eyes and tummy. That's the first thing that attracts you as you ente the cafe. Beautiful and vibrant sweet treats that's just hard to say no to. From local Malay kuih, to some Western bakes such as Choc Brownie, Fruit Flan and many other treats.
If you spot the Tau Foo Fah, you MUST try it. I repeat MUST! It's so smooth and best part, it's chilled. Just the way I like it to be - COLD :p
Crunch to some cripsy Banana & Yam Fritters. Psssttt. do try the Banana Fritters with Vanilla Ice Cream. It's such a nice combination.
