Though visitors won’t be able to experience physical expo due to the ongoing pandemic, the brand new 3D online exhibition hall is the closest experience to it. The virtual exhibition gives you an exciting overall experience, just like if you were at the exhibition in person.

What do you have to do?

You will just need to register as a member of TAITRA at https://mys.taiwanexpoasean.com/en/index.html to gain access to the virtual exhibition hall and all of its features. Just like how you would do when you visit an expo previously. Apart from the one-to-one business matching sessions that are available from the 4th to the 6th of August 2021, the good news is, for those who are unable to attend during the exhibition, it will continue to be live for a month.

Here is a glimpse of the expo. The virtual expo makes it feel like you're just at a physical expo. From the arrangement and setup.

Among some of the highlights are such as the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital’s proton therapy that uses less radiation affecting healthy tissues nearby and it also reduces side effects, CHENG HAO Biotechnology’s AQUECARE T1 PLUS Cordless Handheld Solution Sprayer that is lightweight (1.9kg) and has a spray range of up to 2.5 meters. Definitely a must-have for home for epidemic prevention.

With the overwhelming response that was received last year, Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Committee, Chiayi, returns again this year with 15 local merchants in hopes to broaden their horizons in the Malaysian market. Their exhibited products range from local foods to daily necessities, such as Little Couples’ Dry Noodle, Saint Paul’s Alishan Q Cake, Raw Hand’s Antibacterial Betel Nut Soap, Harvest Cosmetic’s Automatic Soap Dispenser, Chiayo Electronics’ Wireless Microphones and more. This fully demonstrates the characteristics of the industrial establishments in Chiayi City.

There’s even a special collaboration with 10 local Malaysian companies for this year’s expo. These companies sell Taiwanese products which are part of the “My Amazing Taiwan Deals” promotion campaign. Among them are well-known online shopping platforms “Hawooo”, “Youbeli”, “Go Leaf”, “Shiny”; skin care brands “Natural Beauty” and “Forest Beauty”; specialist in 3C consumer electronics “BrightStar”; and F&B stores such as “The Alley”, “Devil Chicken” and Taiwan's One Township One Product (OTOP). Malaysians who love Taiwanese brands are in for a treat as both online and offline channels have launched promotions starting from 28th July until 6th August 2021. To sweeten things up, the first 200 buyers who have pre-registered and completed 4 e-business matchings will have a chance to win an e-Grab voucher.

The Taiwan Expo is organized by Bureau of Foreign Trade and it is also supported by 15 local associations, among them is the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM). There will be other exhibitions held in Thailand, India and Indonesia from now until November, in line with promoting international trade further. The 3D virtual exhibition is the new and efficient way for communication between Taiwanese companies and overseas businesses during this critical pandemic.
