Official Launch of Enchanted Blooms Tunnel at Gurney Paragon Mall, Penang

Gurney Paragon Mall by Hunza Properties Group has just launched a stunning and mesmerising floral art installation at its Festive Square.

The 80-foot-long and 20-foot-height installation is filled with more than 30,000 stalks of Wisteria flowers in full bloom together with hydrangeas and greens.

This beautiful installation also marks the start of a festival-filled period that runs until Chinese New Year 2023. We sure can't wait for the upcoming transformations for the coming festive celebrations.

Guest of honours present during the launch were YB Wong Hon Wai (Member of Parliament for Bukit Bendera), YB Chris Lee Chun Kit (State Assemblyman for Pulau Tikus), Dato' Seri Khor Teng Tong (Founder and Executive Advisor of Hunza Properties Group), Ms. Khor Tze Ming (Group Executive Director of Hunza Properties Group) and Ms. Koay Bee Fong (Chief Operations Officer of Gurney Paragon Mall).

YB Chris Lee Chun Kit mentioned that the flora-filled tunnel is apt for its time to celebrate love for the world in need of it and to mark a renewal of hope for the days ahead. YB Wong expressed that there is no shortage when it comes to festivals in Penang and the adaptation of this installation to the coming Christmas and Chinese New Year will be something to watch out for. Both of them also took the opportunity to wish fellow Malaysians a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day.

Ms. Khor Tze Ming highlighted in her speech that the Wisteria flowers symbolize romance, longevity, and new beginnings which are aligned to their aspiration for the forthcoming future. She also wished that visitors will take the opportunity to capture some unforgettable memories with their loved ones in the whimsical tunnel through photograph.
