LUNAR NEW YEAR 8-COURSE MENU

With a choice of MYR1688+ and MYR1888+ package, one can kick-start the Lunar New Year celebration from 9 January 2023 until 5 February 2023. The bountiful set menus are available for lunch and dinner with a minimum order of 2 tables of 10 persons. 

On 21 January 2023, the eve of Lunar New Year, the 8-course set menu is only available for dinner (no minimum table is required) whilst on 22 – 23 January 2023 (Day 1 & Day 2) the set is available for both lunch & dinner (with minimum order of 2 tables). A 10% surcharge is applicable for these 3 festive dates. 

Each set menu includes Olive Tree’s signature dishes like Salmon Yee Sang with fresh vegetables & fruits, nutritious double-boiled soup, auspicious Braised Dried Oyster, Sea Moss, Fish Maw, Abalone & Garden Greens and signature Wok-Fried White Prawn with Thai Dried Garlic & Pepper dish among others.

On 28 January 2023, the 7 th day of the lunar month, which is also known as 人日 “ren ri” (birthday of humankind), the hotel is featuring a Festive Buffet Dinner to celebrate this joyful day. The buffet dinner is priced at MYR138+ per adult and MYR68+ for senior citizen (60 years and above) /child (5 – 12 years old). Let's get drooling.

We were privileged to indulge the RM1688+ set menu and we sure enjoyed every bit of it.


The first thing to do is to toss to prosperity and good health. The first item on the menu will be Olive Tree Salmon Yee Sang. A vibrant mix of ingredients for that 'Ong'.



Next up is a hearty serving of Double Boiled Duck Soup with Dried Tangerine Peel. The rich flavours in every scoop surely does please the palate.


The Steamed Chicken with Ginger and Onion is classic yet satisfying. Tender juicy bits of chicken with a nice fragrant aroma.


Nothing like a Steamed Tiger Garoupa with Superior Sauce that makes everyone craving for more. The fresh catch was just gorgeous. Sweet, flaky and fresh.


Braised Dried Osyter, Sea Moss, Fish Maw, Abalone and Garden Greens


Get ready some a tad of fiery spiciness from the Wok Fried White Prawn with Thai Dried Garlic and Pepper.
