After 4-months of renovation works, one of Penang's popular hangout spot, Tree Bar at G Hotel Gurney has finally reopened with a new vibe. The transformation has taken place to create an even better overall experience with new settings, new ambiance, new menus and new promotions for customers to enjoy.

Tree Bar is unlike any other bar that you spot around and what makes it different is, it's nestled under the majestic 100-year old Angsana tree. It has been a favourite spot to unwind for drinks and bites since 2014. The newly renovated Tree Bar is now bigger and has more seating capacity with several new TV screens installed for guests to catch their favourite football matches, F1 races, and other sport tournaments.

Beer enthusiasts will always be happy with the wide selection of beer drafts that are available at Tree Bar. The current best value for money promotion that they are having is the 10 Glasses of Beer for only RM140 nett. Apart from that the Craft Beer promotion featuring Dead Pony Club, Punk IPA, Old Engine Oil and Lost Lager are available starting from RM38 nett. Don't worry if beer isn't your thing, they have a nice selection of wine and cocktails for you to enjoy.









Time to get drooling with the delicious eats. Some are the returning favourites and signatures while some are new creations added to the menu for your indulgence.





Tree Bar Wings Basket
Fragrant and crispy chicken wings served along with sweet chili, mustard mayo and crudites.


Chicken Begedil
For a local savoury treat, the Chicken Begedil is made from fried potato patty with minced chicken filling served with spicy-sweet chili sauce. 


Gambas Rojas al Ajillo
Succulent fresh tiger prawns with garlic chips, and toasted bread.


Mini Wagyu Beef Slider
Bite into the juiciness of wagyu patties, mustard mayo, caramelised onion, pineapple, and cheddar. Served with a side of coleslaw



Crispy McNugget
Crispy chicken nuggets and sriracha mayo.


Fritto Misto 
Hidden behind these golden semolina batter are chunks of calamari and prawns. Served with tartar sauce. 



Moroccan Lamb Meatball
Sink your teeth into the nicely seasoned and juicy lamb meatballs with white beans, Baharat spice, and pomegranate.


Mozzarella Sticks
Take a bite into the crispy breaded mozzarella and enjoy the thick oozy cheese. Comes with marinara sauce and mustard mayo.




Trio of Fries
Because 3 is better than 1. Enjoy curly, straight-cut and sweet potato fries. Dip into the sweet chili and truffle mayo.


Crispy Fish Skin
Every bite of crunch enjoyed with salted egg sauce. 




Fried Cauliflower
Served with yogurt, grapes, nuts and scallion.


Tandoori Chicken Pizza
Chunks of tender tandoori marinated chicken, red onion, mango chutney, mozzarella, cilantro and capsicum.





Seafood Pizza
Prawn, squid, crab stick, mozzarella, tomato sauce, capsicum, fresh basil and dried chili flakes.



Beef Rendang Pizza
Spicy beef simmered in coconut milk, mozzarella, red onion and fried curry leaf.



Mushroom Formaggi Pizza
Perfect for vegetarian. Trio mushroom, thyme garlic cream sauce, mozzarella, ricotta and truffle oil.
