The one and only original WhiskyPLUS is back with a bang for its seventh edition overall, but the first in Penang since 2019! The event delivers a single-day extravaganza of whisky and spirits sampling, allowing whisky aficionados and newbies alike the uncommon opportunity to taste a wide range of whiskies and spirits, chat with industry professionals, and even purchase bottles to take home at special event prices. Set in the elegant surroundings of the Wembley St Giles Hotel in the heart of George Town, this year’s Penang event is scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2023, and is once again organised and hosted by TEG Media. 

This much-anticipated event will feature two fantastic sessions, each offering an array of whiskies and spirits from brand owners, along with some of Malaysia’s top importers, distributors, and retailers. Step into the 5,900-square foot main tasting room and embark on a journey of unlimited tasting, exploring an extensive range of whisky brands and expressions that cater to every palate. 

With dozens of brands expected to participate, including independent bottlings and new-tomarket expressions, whisky enthusiasts will be delighted to find familiar favourites alongside exciting discoveries. 

Choose from Standard or VIP entry for each session, and enjoy a commemorative Glencairnstyle whisky tasting glass with the WhiskyPLUS 2023 logo, yours to cherish as a memento of this unforgettable event. To ensure an enjoyable and immersive experience, WhiskyPLUS is capacity-controlled, with limited tickets available for each session. Session 1, from 12pm to 4:30pm, and Session 2, from 5:30pm to 10pm, will offer similar experiences, with potential variations in exhibitor offerings. Guests are encouraged to select the session that best suits their schedule.
