Amari SPICE Penang CSR 2024 - Bubur Lambuk Distribution

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, the team at Amari SPICE Penang distributed 500 servings of delicious Bubur Lambuk to the Bayan Baru community on Wednesday, 13 March 2024.

Led by General Manager, Mr. Noorazzudin Omar, and department heads of Amari SPICE Penang, the team distributed Bubur Lambuk at Masjid Umar Ibnu Al-Khattab’s Ramadan market as part of Amari’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. 

Mr. Noorazzudin Omar said “the objective of this program is a time of sharing, and to spreading of love and goodwill of Ramadan with the local community, thus strengthening thy’ neighbourhood relationship”. 

The Bubur Lambuk were prepared by Executive Chef Azmi Affandi and his culinary team. The Bubur Lambuk was a family recipe “passed down” from the great-grandmother of one of Amari SPICE Penang’s associates/staff who generously shared it as a gift of Ramadan. 

Bubur Lambuk CSR event will be an annual occasion for Amari SPICE Penang to usher in the fasting month of Ramadan.
