It was such a pleasant surprise when I received an invitation by G Hotel Gurney to their G Ball. G Ball is the night where all business associates of G Hotel are gathered and appreciated for all their overwhelming support in so many ways towards the hotel that contributed to the success year by year.
With a theme of " The Greatest Show", G Ball had their guests participating in fun activities, games, while enjoying pre-cocktail sessions with delicious treats before the main event started. Guest were seen trying their luck with much excitement at the game booths trying to hit the ping pong balls off the bottles, throwing loop rings onto glass bottles and dunking a ball into the basketball loop. Lucky ones got their hands on some exciting prizes.

I never really owned a suit and I was in much hesitation initially, but I guess their encouragement for me to come for the event, paid off! Though I look far from any superstar but hey this was my very first time looking this good, in a suit haha :)
"Madam Zorra" was seen reading the fortune to some of the guest that night.
The caricature drawing was pretty neat! Wished there was more time to have mine drawn.
The set up was amazing, gave such a grand elegant ambiance and just spectacular. One word to summarize it, WOW!
Mr Michael Hanratty, the General Manager of G Hotel gave his warm welcoming speech and his speech was everything about thanking all the guest for their tremendous support and all the beautiful words that started with G but one main word to express it all, Gratitude.
It was then time for palates to be pampered with the exciting flavours of specially prepared creations for the night.
Appetizer
Flying Fish
Seasoned tuna in virgin olive oil, ripe avocado, cherry tomato and Japanese mayonnaise.
First look at it's already such a beauty. It certainly taste as good as it looked. The creaminess of the Japanese mayo together with the avocado just gives the tuna such nice flavour. A tinge of sweetness as well as sourness of the tomato, offers a pleasant flavour to the palate.
Soup
Juggling Leek
Rich and creamy garlic and leek soup with cajun chicken, garlic candy and extra virgin olive oil.
I think of leek and I wouldn't have thought I would like the soup, but I was surprise upon having the first taste. The richness of the soup offered such nice pleasant taste. I would probably need a soup pot rather than a bowl haha..

Slow cooked chicken leg in spice oil. cheese potato, baby cress and wild mushroom juice
Guess the bird wasn't so angry after all :) The chicken meat was tender and each bite was fragrantly beautiful. Shall I not miss out on the cheese potato. Oh heavenly!
Dessert
Trapeze Rhubarb
Rhubarb tart & hazelnut crumble with vanilla ice cream
Just tell me what's there not to like about this dessert. The crumble was simply satisfying.

While everyone was enjoying savouring away the delicious feast, guest were entertained by special appearance of performers from Argentina who kept the crowd laughing to their funny antics as well as some fascinating stunts too.
A Michael Jackson impersonator also took the stage showcasing his talents with some of the iconic dance moves of Michael Jackson.
While everybody came dressed to the nines, they could only choose one male and one female for the Best Dressed award respectively. Congratulations to them :)
I sincerely can't thank G Hotel enough for having me and giving me such privilege to be there for their prestigious event. It was a remarkable honour.
Nevertheless, my sincere Gratitude to G Hotel on the kind note of always remembering me and for the warm hospitality always.
