Unlike the norms of welcome drink only during check-ins, DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang welcomes their guest with their signature Chocolate Chip Cookie. The aroma fills the place as they hand it over to you. One bite into it and the nice crunch with bits of chocolate chips is just so welcoming and addictive.
Time to bring out the cookie monster in me..nom nom nom :P

Tadahhhh...Welcome to our super spacious King One Bedroom Suite. The room has a nice contemporary ambiance with a seperate living area, bedroom and a balcony.
The bedroom welcomes you to a nice relaxing comfy setting. Not forgetting the really comfy bed to just sleep in.

Awwwwww. A pleasant surprise by the hotel. The chocolate brownie was the bomb. It was seriously so so so GOOD! I wished I could have more ..haha..

Those who love long bath and rain shower, are in for a nice treat as they room offers both. You can enjoy soaking yourself in the warm water or singing under the rain shower. hehe..

If you're looking for a spot to sit back unwind to some bites and drinks, then Axis Lounge is your spot to be. The lounge is relaxing casual with a touch of classy nostalgic.
If you've been looking for a new place to enjoy Hi-Tea, here's another spot for you to enjoy it.
Axis Lounge serves Hi-Tea from 1pm-5pm on daily basis. Priced at RM68nett for 2 pax.
Served in a pyramid shaped tier, the Hi-Tea consist of sweet as well as savoury treats. Dig into favourites like macaroons, scones, mousse, tarts and sandwiches.
Located on the G floor as well is, The Food Store where you can grab some snacks, freshly baked pastries, cakes and sandwiches too. If you love DoubleTree's heavenly Chocolate Chip Cookies, you can grab some over here.
Time to fill up the tummy with all those yummilicious buffet spread at the all-day dining Makan Kitchen. Situated just by the pool area, the open air area welcomes the windy cool breeze from the sea across the road.
Seafood lover rejoice as Makan Kitchen serves Seafood Buffet on every Saturday night. From 6.30pm to 10pm, priced at RM 128nett per adult and RM 64nett per child (6-12 years old) & senior citizen.
There's seafood almost everywhere. From seafood on ice, grilled seafood items and seafood in main dishes. From local cuisines to international fare, there so much to enjoy.

For those who workout or just wish to sweat off the calories from all those indulgence, just pop over to the state-of-art fitness room and work it out.
Love the beach? Yes! There's a beach just across the hotel. Accessible via the pedestrian bridge.
Lastly, the not to be missed, Teddyville Museum. Featuring adorable teddy bears, from historical teddys to life-size teddy in traditional costumes. You can look forward to seeing teddy bears being set in various scenarios, like festive celebrations such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year and Thaipusam; at tourist spots. So if you're in Penang, you should make a trip over.
