W Kitchen at Jalan Arratoon serves tantalising daily meals for you to enjoy. They have a myriad of menu on rotation basis and one can look forward to all the exciting flavours W Kitchen has to pamper you with. Dig into delicious burst of flavours of local Chinese, Malay, Indian and Nyonya delights as well as the gorgeous flavours of Thai, Vietnamese, Western, Japanese, Indonesian, Korean and many more to excite your taste buds.
W Kitchen turns 1 on 22 June 2021 and the team is made up of former employees of Northam All Suite Hotel, as the hotel closed its doors for a 2 year major renovation. The owner, Mr. Wang who was the GM of the hotel then decided to start off his very own food business providing catering services, breakfast, lunch and dinner available for takeaways, delivery and dine-in while creating job opportunities to some of his talented team members who were also affected.
We were privileged to try one of the menu specials and now we know why customers keep ordering their meals from W Kitchen.
We had the chance to try their Hainanese Chicken Chop Set, Pandan Nasi Lemak with Sambal Udang Set, Fresh Seafood Wanton, Fresh Cut Fruits and Homemade Lemongrass Pandan Drink.
Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect when I first saw the takeaway box, but the moment I opened the box, the chicken chop was just so welcoming. Huge piece of chicken chop, that was served with fries, a special potato salad and the gravy that was just right on the sweetness with a tad of sourness. Portion was good enough to make my tummy happy hehe..

Pandan Nasi Lemak with Sambal Udang Set - RM13
The first thing that catches the attention would be the green coloured rice. The fragrant Nasi Lemak rice is green as it's the extract juice from the pandan leaves. So it's the real deal, not some artificial food colouring :)
The prawns were succulent and fresh. While the sambal gave that nice spicy kick of omphhh, a perfect match with that fragrant rice. Served along with with peanut, anchovies, hard boiled egg and cucumber. Just everything you need for a complete Nasi Lemak indulgence.
Homemade Lemongrass Pandan Drink - RM3
This refreshing drink offers such a beautiful fragrant aroma. You'll love the sweet smell the drink has and it's not too sweet. Just perfect!
