Usher the Chinese New Year 2024 with a culinary journey of tantalising feasts at Olive Tree Hotel, Penang. Gather your family and friends and be pampered with the Lunar Harmony Feast 9-course reunion dinner set on the eve or the 8-course Lunar New Year set menus available for lunch and dinner, from 16 January to 24 February 2024 (except 9 Feb 2024). Diners can opt for either the Lunar Bliss 8-course set priced at RM1399+ or the Lunar Delight 8-course set priced at RM1699+. Apart from these delicious set menus, the hotel also offers Prosperity Platter, priced at RM168+ which is perfect to be shared by 4 persons and toss to prosperity with Olive Tree Salmon Yee Sang, priced at  RM139 per set. To add on the festivity celebration, the hotel will also be presenting activities like War Drums, Sandart, Magician and Chinese Calligraphy activity.


We were privileged to savour some of the highlights and our palate was sure pampered with the delicious flavours and cooking. Among the highlights that were presented was the Crab Meat & Scallop Spinach Chowder which packed with flavour in every scoop. The broth made you wanting more. The Traditional Style Roasted Spring Chicken was tender on every bite while the Steamed Tiger Garoupa with Crispy Granulated Soybean was a delightful treat. The fish was fresh, sweet and the cripsy crunch sure added a nice texture to it. We also had the Braised Abalone and Golden Money Bag with Broccoli and Wok-fried White Prawn with `Creamy Butter Black Truffle Sauce and Crispy Bun which was a heavenly dish. The prawn was amazing and the sauce gave it such a nice pleasing flavour.
 Lastly was the Fried Rice with Smoke Duck, Seaweed & Sweet Corn and the desserts at the buffet spread which brought up the Chinese New Year ambiance.


































Diners who booked the Lunar Harmony Feast set will also be able to enjoy a buffet spread of an assortment of desserts. Sink your teeth into mouth-watering sweet creations that are hard to resist.















The Prosperity Platter is perfect treat to be shared by 4 people. This delectable ensemble features a succulent Roasted Spring Chicken, Grilled Lamb Ribs, Home-made Pan-fried Gyoza, Korean Chicken Bao Bun, Crispy Torpedo Prawn, Mixed Vegetables, Pickled Cucumber & Carrot, and a delightful Fried 'Nian Gou' Ball. Accompanied by specialty Mongolian sauce and Strawberry Mayo sauce, this platter also includes refreshing Orange Fizz drinks to cleanse your palate during dine-in. Priced at just RM168+ per platter, it's going to be satisfying indulgence with your family and friends.
