Unveiled during the HUAWEI Innovative Product Launch event in Barcelona, Spain, the European CE (MDR) medical-certified HUAWEI WATCH D2 delivers 24-hour accurate blood pressure measurement, ushering in a new era of on-the-go blood pressure management, and is powered by the all-new HUAWEI TruSense System for faster and more accurate results.

Bringing The Future of Health Monitoring to Your Wrist

Throughout the day, factors such as work stress, lifestyle pressures, and dietary habits can cause emotional fluctuations, leading to changes in blood pressure, making it necessary to monitor blood pressure dynamically and identify potential hypertension risks. However, not many have the means to monitor their health conditions at all times, even with the help of technology.

All mainstream guidelines for hypertension management – including ISH 2020 Global Hypertension Practice Guidelines, 2017 ACC/AHA Blood Pressure Guideline, and 2018 ESC/ESH Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Management of Arterial Hypertension – have recommended ABPM as one of three blood pressure measurement modes for hypertension diagnosis. ABPM is also heralded as the gold standard for monitoring symptoms and treating hypertension.

Recognising the importance of effective health management as well as the cost and convenience of traditional ABPM devices, Huawei has established a long-term partnership with global hypertension experts, including George S. Stergiou, President-Elect International Society Hypertension, and Professor Wang Jiguang, President of the Chinese Hypertension League, in addition to the decade-long research and development in blood pressure technology and three years of tech optimisations.

HUAWEI WATCH D2 Provides 24-hour Wrist Blood Pressure Expert

HUAWEI WATCH D2 brings 24-hour blood pressure monitoring to your wrists. The watch utilises the airbag to inflate and measure blood pressure at intervals with smart reminders in the day, and sleep measurements at night. It supports measurements in multiple scenarios, including standing, sitting or semi-lying positions in the day, as well as automatic internal measurements at night.

The launch of the HUAWEI WATCH D2 introduced a ground-breaking innovation as world’s first wrist-based, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) device2 approved by both the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and Medical Device Regulation (MDR), as a result of close cooperation with global authoritative experts. This is made possible with the latest HUAWEI TruSense System, after having innovated in research around blood pressure for the last decade.

Equipped with a high-precision pressure sensor, mini pump, and inflatable airbag to provide precise vitals and BP measurements, the HUAWEI WATCH D2 doesn't miss a beat. HUAWEI WATCH D2 measures Beat-by-Beat ECG Analysis3, SpO2 Monitoring4, Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis5, Heart Rate6, Stress Level7, and Skin Temperature, bringing all-round health management to users’ wrists to help identify health risks.

With a single tap, users can measure 9 body indicators and generate a Health Glance9 report to identify potential health risks which include heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen, stress, body temperature, ECG, vascular elasticity, pulse wave arrhythmia, and Sleep breathing awareness. HUAWEI WATCH D2 is also Huawei’s first smartwatch with a blood pressure analysis function in the Health Glance.

Additionally, it also brings features such as over 80 exercise modes10, with daily task tracking around exercise, diet, sleep, weight, and stress, to help users develop habits that form a healthy lifestyle to support blood pressure management.

Lightweight Comfort with Premium Simplicity

HUAWEI WATCH D2 is compact and lightweight11, allowing users to wear it continuously for comprehensive blood pressure monitoring and management. Boasting a 1.82-inch large screen with new colourful user interface and a 2.5D floating design. The device is about 1/5 the width, 1/25 the volume, and 1/26 the weight of traditional upper-arm electronic blood pressure monitors, with the Ultra-narrow airbag11 at just 26.5mm.

Available in Black and Gold with sweat-resistant, skin-friendly straps, it combines practicality with elegance.
